King Constantine II to undergo heart surgery

King Constantine II of the Hellenes will be undergoing heart surgery on May 29th:

"The following announcement was issued by HM King Constantine’s office in London:

HM King Constantine is scheduled to undergo elective cardiac surgery for calcific aortic stenosis with valve replacement using a bioprosthesis and a single-vessel bypass.

The procedure is scheduled for 29th May at the Wellington Hospital, London and will be performed by Professor Gilles D. Dreyfus. Professor Dreyfus is a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon & the Director of Transplantation at Harefield Hospital and Professor of Cardiovascular Surgery at Imperial College, London."
